Wilwood BP-40 Smartpad is a high friction pad with aggressive initial response, low wear rate, clean release compound with a long temperature window. All Wilwood 7416 (16mm) specialty pads allow easy conversion from an .810 traditional caliper and rotor set-up, to the UL-16 1" rotor. The 16 mm thick specialty pads (along with caliper shims) allow for replacing existing .81 rotors for significant rotating weight savings without a compromise in performance or exhaustive spindle or bracket modifications.
