PowerBond® by Dayco Premium OEM Replacement Harmonic Balancers are designed as premium OEM replacement balancers for serpentine and V-belt drives on the most popular passenger car, light commercial and four-wheel drive applications.
Manufactured using a premium ductile iron casting and injection bonded dampening rubber, PowerBond® harmonic balancers offer engine builders and technicians the highest quality replacement to standard OEM balancers, which are typically made with press inserted dampening rubber. Our balancers utilize both inserted and pressure-bonded rubber to provide superior bonding strength between the inner and outer balancer rings, helping minimize spin and dislocation.

Be sure to compare this harmonic balancer with the marker tab you are using to set timing. You may need to change the timing tab or mark a new line on the harmonic balancer to match your set up.
Over time, three different timing pointer locations have been used for harmonic balancers on Chevy Small Block engines. For engines from 1969 and earlier the TDC mark is 2° to the left of the keyway centerline on the balancer. On engines from 1969 to 1985 harmonic balancers have a TDC mark 10° to the left of the keyway centerline. With years 1986 to 1991/1992, balancers have the TDC mark 40° to the left of the keyway centerline.
